WHAT IS Psoriasis?

Psoriasis is a common skin condition that causes cells to build up rapidly on the surface of the skin. The extra skin cells form scales and red patches that are itchy and sometimes painful. Unfortunately, there is no cure for this chronic disease, but symptoms can be managed by using moisturizers, medications, and by reducing stress. The main goal of getting treatment is to stop the skin cells from growing so rapidly.
